Frequently Asked Questions in Miramar

Quote and policy-issuance timing depend on the property information, requested inspections, carrier availability, underwriting, and any binding restrictions. Ask the issuing insurer to confirm acceptance and the policy’s effective date and time. A quote request does not guarantee an offer or bind coverage.

Ask the issuing insurer about loss-of-use provisions, eligible expenses, limits, exclusions, and other conditions in the actual policy. Direct questions about an actual loss or payment to the insurer.

If your mortgage is paid off, you can still review homeowners insurance options for the property. Compare available limits, deductibles, exclusions, and premiums; carrier eligibility and policy terms apply.

For a claim or questions about a loss, contact your insurance carrier directly.

Contact the issuing carrier or your agent for the policy’s cancellation procedure, required documentation, effective date, and any premium-refund terms. Confirm any replacement policy’s acceptance and effective date before cancelling existing coverage.
